embroidered corset

Another photo of my embroidered corset for Follies costume. This however is the much improved version as I had made a real mess of sewing the binding on it before - so new binding cut and sewn on to look much better.

The fabric is eau de nil coloured taffeta which I have hand painted with fabric paint and then free machine stitched over. Fabric design is my own and corset pattern is an adjusted 17th century pattern.

I also had to take a much better picture of this as it is going on to my new business cards.
